Job Role: Trainee EDI Developer
Job Profile:
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is the electronic interchange of
business information using a standardized format; a process that allows one
company to send information to another company electronically rather than with
paper. As an EDI Developer, you will coordinate with customer services and
compliance departments to complete all EDI functions and provide everyday
support to resolve all EDI transaction issues and perform tests and document
all results for same.
Desired Candidate profile:
- Logical Reasoning
- Problem-solving skill
- Data Analysis Skill
- Basic Knowledge in a programming language (Python, Java)
- Knowledge in SQL
- Communication skills – EDI analysts are active listeners who can translate the needs of a business or client into a technical solution, then communicate that solution back to them in a way that is easily understood.
- Analytical thinking – Analysing the strengths and weaknesses of the particular course of action is necessary at almost every stage of a system’s life cycle, whether it be the initial design process, testing, or troubleshooting.
